

When you tap your Base Station to go to the Alarm device list, you’ll see a blue status bar explaining where to manage firmware updates. When you tap the hamburger menu (≡), you’ll see a red circle icon with a number next to “Devices.” Tap “Devices” to go to the device list where you’ll see “Device Updates Available” blue status text below your Base Station. Once complete, the keypad will resume normal operation and behave as you have become familiar with, displaying the system state, allowing you to arm/disarm*, etc.Īdditional Information about Firmware UpdatesĪnytime firmware updates are available for your Ring Alarm Keypads, you’ll see a red dot on the hamburger menu. It will continue doing this throughout the process.

When your Keypad is downloading an update from the Base Station, the LED ring on the Keypad will slowly flash white.
